My child was hurt in school

My daughter is in kindergarten. They have finished they final exams and are already practicing for their recognition and culminating day. Yesterday was their second day of practice. So what happened was in the middle of the practice some of her classmates were joking around and two of her classmates kicked the bench behind them. My daughter was in the last row and the bench fell right into her legs. Now her legs are swollen and red. She really can't walk straight. I asked her if she still wants to attend the practices and she said yes. I said she could attend when her legs heal. I even cried last night because of my anger. I wasn't able to talk from anybody from the school because my daughter rides the school bus to and from the school. I was waiting for her adviser to call me and check on my daughter's condition but up to now I haven't received any call. I'm planning to talk to the principal about what happened. I believe my child's safety is the school's responsibility since the accident happened inside the school and within her school schedule. What do you think should I tell them so next time this accidents would not happen again. I'm really disappointed with the school and I'm planning to have her transferred to another school next school year.

I think you should approach the adviser of your child.Approach in a tactful manner.I think every school year the school have included in the curriculum the student's insurance for the whole school year. In that manner you can claim whatever covered by your student's insurance.Hoping for the fast recovery of your child.

Thanks for your concern. When my husband arrived last night I told him and he just said, kids are really naughty sometimes. I don't blame the kids I think the people to be blamed are the teachers who are conducting the practice.

oh sorry to hear that! i hope your daughter is ok now. I think you have to talk with the adviser as well as the principal so that they will be aware of it so that they will teach other kids to be careful next time and watch their action and to be able not to have anymore accident like that.
