Wild animals for pets

I love watching animal planet. There is one show there where some people owned wild animals as their pets, some owned phytons and tarantulas,some owned big bears. Though it looks like it's dangerous some of them take the risks. If you will be given a chance to have wild animals as pets what kind would you choose?

if ever i have a chance to pet some wild animals... i'll definitely choose hippopotamus! hehe:) faq: hippopotamus virtually has no hair and its skin can get sunburnt, so it has a built-in sunblock!

I guess it might be nice to watch but I really think wild animals should be left alone with their own free to roam areas with out the intrusion of humans, I think we humans tend to stuff things up for our animal friends.
