On Resurrection Morning
Jesus came to earth to live as a man,
It was all a part of God's holy plan;
So He lived out His years as part of God's will,
Until He traveled on to Golgotha's hill.
He shed His blood upon the cross of Calvary,
That eternal life might belong to us so free;
Oh, the love that He showed to pardon our sin,
But the grave was not strong enough to hold Him in!
On resurrection morning, He rolled the stone away,
The tomb that He laid in is still empty today;
Only God Almighty could even do such a thing,
By making Jesus Christ, the living, reigning King.
On resurrection morning, He came forth just as planned,
Astounding the hearts of every mortal man;
The Lord of lords we sing to, is alive and well today,
And He deserves to hear our voice in glory, honor and praise!

This is beautiful. I'm not familar with the author, I would love to know if this is you by any chance. I publish a newsletter for our church's womens group and would love to use this in the issue before Resurrection Sunday.

I got this off of Chuck Norris' website in the Christian area. The author's name is Karen Icenhour.
I don't have the talent to write poems...it's a wonderful talent to have! I do sing and I love to sing for the Lord.

OH I love to sing for the Lord but am afraid I've not been blessed with one of the greatest voices. I've been told my talents are in writing and helping - although this last week you wouldn't know it by my writing.
