In my opinion nearly any band is better than Linkin Park. Every song is the same regurgitated, whiny tune. And what was with that one album, where they basically just took the album before it, made it skip, and called it a "Remix"? I could have done that with a screwdriver or a pair of scissors.
So yes, Metallica hands down.

Definitely. It's not even a contest. Metallica wins hands down. Even the very few Metallica releases that aren't as well liked as their others could easily beat anything Linkin Park has put out, and if you compared all of Linkin Park's albums to just one of Metallica's earlier albums (or even Garage Inc, an all cover songs album), words couldn't express how much "Metallica Linkin Park."

I think so too.I cud listen to ONE and MSTR OF PPTS over n over n over again n not get bored.yeah.FUel 2.all their songs rock.

metallica's better.comparing it to Linkin park..i mean how many bands would survive that long in the industry?plus got a great song writer compared to linkins lyrics and the tunes are not redundant..metallica's a legend and linkin parks a rookie or a veteran maybe,why would you compare metallica to band like that...why not compare it to some band of the same caliber like u2,aerosmith and other legends

I believe in a musical duel... linkin park would beat them up...i like anyone in linkin park because they are and never were members of the sellout Metallisux band ...anything after and justice for all sux..

Come on, they didn't "sell out." They just experimented with a different style of music. Sure, for metalheads, some of their albums aren't nearly as great as others, but they're still great when compared to the other stuff out there, and even if you are convinced that they "sold out," and that nothing after AJFA was good, just look at the ones that were good! Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, . . .And Justice for All. What has Linkin Park done that could compare with that?

i prefer linkin park to mettalica cause it gets u up on ur feet and at the same time relaxes ur mind. i would prefer linkinpark anyday. my fav. is in the end. its awesome

WHAT??? METALLICA against Linkin Park? It is must be a joke, Linkin Park have to proof that they can already exist for next twenty years, so they can be like Metallica.

i dont think theres any comparison between bands like metallica who play thrash metal and LP who play more of a hip-hop rap style metal...well i like both..but i have to say when it comes to ultimate music...it has to be metallica...no one beats them...they rule the rock world..

now...now...boys and girls. Enuf of argument of who's better of the 2 great bands. Both are tops in their respective genres. They may both play hard and heavy, but metallica and linkin park are two different leagues of their own. When I wanna get all adrenalized, I listen to Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield guitar duets. But when I when get to thinking deep and serious I listen to Chester's melacholic screams and Shinoda's ripping effects.
