Please Read?

Is It illegal to sell alcohol to and adult over 18 to give to a person under 18 while there are with them e.g pub, resteraunt, as long as the adult is paying, i would like to know this because my friend and his dad have done it in pubs, Some pubs said no, other said its ok,is this against the law??????

It depends on the country you're in. In the US it would definately be against the law. The drinking age is 21 here though, but nevertheless, it would be illegal if the situation was a 21 year old and someone younger. At a lot of bars they check all ids of the people at the table to make sure that they're all over 21.
