I recently went to a discount store for a pair shoes. The pair that I liked looked like my size but it said it was size 23 ½. I only wear a size 6 ½ shoe. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. I purchased them but when I got home, I got online to find out about conversions. Each country has its own size, weight, measurement and other ways of converting. I was very curious as I had no idea what other countries used. I found a site that will help us all out with that. This site is very easy to use and simple to understand. You just look down the list for what you want to convert and click the link for it. What will you find here? Well, the conversion range from Length, Temperature, Weight, Cooking, Fuel, Acceleration, Clothing Sizes, Date & Time, Energy, Light, Numbers, Power and a so many more. I am very interested in cooking . So, I jumped right into the cooking conversions section to check it out for myself. I was really surprised to see how thorough it was. Not only do you get common cooking conversions, but there was a link to butter conversions and even oven temperature conversions between gas and electric. In the Miscellaneous section, you will find conversions that didn’t really fit in anywhere else. Things such as a Tip Calculator, Blood Sugar, Horse Height and Grade Point Averages, just to name a few. I really liked the Roman Numerals converter in this section as well. So, if you need to convert something, you will most likely find it here. This is a really handy site and I’ve bookmarked it. I hope you will explore it and find out for yourself how wonderful it is. I hope you’ll do the same, so that you'll have easy access to it when you need it! The site is called online conversion and can be found at this link: http://www.onlineconversion.com/ I was not sure what interest to add this discussion to so I choose frugal living as it can cost alot of money if you make a mistake and not know the correct conversions when cooking or when making purchases that are from other countries. Also I have been ask what the conversion is from my recipes to terms in other countries and this will be of great help to those people also.

Hi Anne, I am using it so thank you very much, it's easy to understand and better than guessing or using a mug. I got some new measures too with cups etc marked on too. Thanks for giving me your best response even when the typo fairy was obviously hopping about all over it!
