I watched on DVD a couple of weeks ago and I was so glad I didn't spend more for going to see it at the movie theater. It surely had some funny parts to it....but in all I found that movie to be over the top disgusting.I'm pretty open minded....but some of that stuff was just nasty and not something I find entertaining. So have you seen it and what did you think about it?

We (my husband and I) watched it at the movies. We laughed so hard! I even bought it when it came out! It was so funny and outrageous!

Yes, I've seen "Borat" and I enjoyed it. I appreciate the comedy of Sasha Baron Cohen (Ali G, Borat, Bruno). One of the best things about this movie is its soundtrack.

at first it really made me laugh but as the movie went on, i found it quite boring. coz the jokes are old and they were kinda offensive, mostly green jokes. and its all cliche.

I saw it in theaters and I thought it was hilarious! I've watched the Ali G show for a few years now, so I knew all about Borat's character before this came out, and the movie definitely lived up to my expectations. Sure it might have been gross at parts, but that just added to the humor of the whole movie! I also loved the originality of it.

I have watched the movie "Borat" few days back. To be honest I did not like the movie much. Thats way too much of insulting a nation in my opinion. Also very old kind of funy part.

As disturbing as some of the parts in the movie were, I thought it was brilliant. Amazing how he was able to keep in character throughout his performance, especially the bathroom scene during dinner. He was so convincing to the people he played tricks on. Also, he was very persuasive. Just goes to show how easily we can be fooled.

I think it's a disgusting movie, and I'll even surprise myself and add that I liked it. It's got every element a good movie should have, and it has the feeling of spontaneity. The jokes are extreme, and they work, but they are bizarre, if you know what I mean. It's creative and I laughed, but I would not watch it a second time.

I love it! The mans a genius.. the facial expression when he finds out he's in a house of jews haha.. oh man, the best part is everyone believes him, like at the news channel! Seriously, I just love how he can BS a whole nation. http://misterbelgic.blogspot.com

i think borat is a great movie. It is different of all that comedys that come and go everytime. Some people get offended by his jkes, but I think you have to put in a mind that IS a joke, Borat makes fun of jewish people all the time and Sach baron Cohen, the actor is Jewish... you cannot take evrything serious.

I would kind of like to see it. It looks like it's one of those movies that's just kind of mindless and funny. I mentioned something a while back to my hubby when we saw a commercial for the dvd on tv and he isn't interested on seeing it so I'd have to rent it when I have a day to myself.
