Living Life With Optimism

For me, there are four major factors I focus on in order to live as rich and meaningful a life as I can. These factors help stoke my optimism and internal locus of control. POSSIBILITY - Look for the vast potential in yourself and others. Seek knowledge and realize it is nearly infinite, and so there will always be potential to learn more. LOVE - Giving and receiving it is a reinforcing cycle that supports every positive aspect of your life. CONTRIBUTION - Altruism is one of the most meaningful and rewarding actions that can be experienced, and by its practice optimism is strengthened by reinforcing your own self image and that of others who give selflessly. LEGACY - How do people think of you, and how will they remember you when you are gone? I want those I care about who survive me to be proud to have known and loved me. This became especially important for me personally after having children. Full article: http://www.helium.com/tm/169014 What helps you live a meaningful, optimistic life? I have always been an optimist prefering to see the glass as half full rather than half empty. Your choices are excellent and I agree with them. Some of them I have a hard time practicing because of the way I am living, but I do my best to face each day with an open mind and an open heart.

I think all of these are important factors in anyones life. Doing these things will help you to achieve a mopre positive lifestyle for yourself and those around you. Right now I'm making my life more optimistic through love and possibility. If you put the two together, nothing is impossible.
