My hubby's birthday was yesterday! We don't have a lot of money. So i can't go all out like I had hoped too. What can I do or get for his birthday that will make him feel better. I was the only one in our families to wish him a happy birthday so he's feeling kind of low at the moment.

I think that as we all get older we tend to take things like no one saying happy birthday realy personal. I do to. I think one of the best gifts that you can give your hubby as a wife is the gift of love. Nothing in the world is better. Hugs are good to so try giving him a hug and telling him that you love him see if that dose the job.

Thanks! I did end up sneaking to the grocery store and got him a small cake that my daughter and I put canldes on and sang to him. i also got him his favorite candy bar and soda. (we don't drink soda normally). I helped a little bit. He said he was a little hurt as he was going to bed. I just wish i could have done more for him.

Memories are alwaysn the best. Just have a quiet dinner after the kids go to bed!

I would wait on him hand and foot, make his favorite foods, and tell him as soon as you get a couple dollars to do something it will be his choice what to do.Make him a card from the heart instead of buying one, do something that you think he would like that he has talked about at some time...Invite his friends over for a small get together anything simple and inexpensive been there myself and it is hard to deal with...but love is strong and you will think of something I am sure.
