built my last system around 9 months ago using the A7S333 Board. First with an Athlon-XP 2000+ (Palomino core) Constant blue screens running MS Windows-XP with SP1. Flashed the BIOS to 1005 and the board is still unstable. replaced video card. That helped a bit. Still blue screens and unexpected reboots with blue screens. Flashed the BIOS to 1006 and replaced the 2x256-Mb memory sticks to a one single 512-Mb AZEN RAM (PC-2100) Also replaced the CPU for the Athlon-XP 2400, Throughbred chip and the system is more stable now. I upgrade and build PCs for others and myself but this board is not worth the hassle. Pay a bit more and get a decent board with a VIA or NForce chipset. Absolutely make sure that you have good quality memory sticks and a strong power supply to run this board stable. I didn't even try overclocking it. The board will not support AGP 8X, only 4x, No dual channel memory support, No firewire, and no CPU support for chips running on 333-MHz bus. This board will not support an AMD Athlon-XP CPU with the Barton core! Not even with the latest BIOS flash. What I like in it is the great audio, 6 USB ports, Affordable, Quiet, Bundled CD full of nice tools & apps. ASUS brand. YOU CAN TRY GOING TO A LOCAL VANDORER FOR GETTING CD OF MOTHERBOARD WHICH CONTAINS MANUAL.
