Is religion that important???

My religion is Catholic. I have no problem with that. Some of my friends are of different religion (e.g. Born Again, Iglesia ni Christo, Seventh Day Adventist) and i definitely have no problem with that. The problem now is when it comes to discussing our different religions. We keep on arguing with our differences. Aren't we worshiping the same God, the same Jesus Christ? What are we still arguing for? We have been arguing this for decades now. Is religion really that important??? Does it really matter???
