Sometimes people Bet and win ... Have you ever made a Bet?

whenever we make choices, there's always a risk involved. decisions are often risky but you have to gamble anyway. it's chance. gambling is not only in the form one finds in casinos, involving lots of money. you can bet for fun too. most of the time i measure first the probability of being right as opposed to being wrong. you have to measure how much you are placing as a bet. you can have a win-win situation if you know how to play it. one example: my friend and i made a bet (as a joke). i told her that i'd bet her younger brother will have a girlfriend before he graduates from highschool. my friend, such a sensitive one that concerns her family, said it's not likely. we made a bet on a gallon of ice cream. the loser gets to buy the ice cream. we both love ice cream so i figured whoever wins or loses will be eating a fair amount of ice cream anyway. the bet was made months before graduation. when the day of the graduation came... it didn't matter anymore who won the bet. we just bought the ice cream as part of the celebration. in effect, nobody lost in the bet. in essence betting and gambling is basically the same. it's not bad but it can get worse depending on how much you placed on the bet. if you win, well and good. if you lose... well, how you handle it is up to you. :)

Well i havent bet till now and i wont even bet. I rather just make a bet without any money exchange. I feel that bet is gambling and in our day to day life we can see horrible things that happen due to money. There is a saying that the The money earned in illegal way wont stay for a long time :)

I love to gamble so yes I've made bets. I've won and lost. Mostly lost. LOL! Betting/gambling is human nature as we gamble with our lives every day doing normal activities. Driving down a crowded highway is a gamble. Walking against traffic lights which most do is a gamble. Now gambling for money is one gamble we humans choose to do of our own free will. Sometimes the gambles pay off sometimes not. Humans love the feel of BEATING something and getting paid so that's why many like to gamble. I know I love the sound of a slot machine when it's paying me off. The music and other noises are an adrenaline rush. I get a great feeling seeing 3 same amounts when I scratch a lottery ticket.
