Let be the church be the conscience of the society. The church has prophetic role in its society. Human versions of truth come and go. When we talk of witnessing, as I have been doing, the hope is that others who have not had experience God will be open to such experience for themselves. I grew up pious because of the influence of people around me. I hace always known from experience that anyone tackles religion, there are immediate outcries. Understandably, religion is a sensitive topic. I see no problem regarding this in the past until I had a bf who seems to question the existence of God. It bothers me a lot because we fight about it. sometimes I wonder if our relationship will last despite our extreme differences. I know a lot of couples who stayed together through thick and thin because their relationship is centered on Jesus. How can I make him believe in God? And how can I resolve this conflict? please help..........

I know that must be hard on you and I hope your boyfriend will come to know the Lord. He is the ONLY WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE! Just keep living an example in front of him and when the Lord opens a door to witness to him say what is on your heart. The Bible does say for us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. I'm not saying that to be harsh because I can tell you really love this young man, but if it causes your walk with God to suffer you have to be sensitive to that and make the right decision whether or not to stay with him. I have a daughter who is 20 years old and believe me I have said the same thing to her. That doesn't make it easy when you love somebody. God Bless You and I'll be praying for you. P.S. You are right too that when you center your life around Jesus Christ he will show you the right thing to do. Being a Christian isn't always easy but it will be worth it in the end.

Geez, thanks. Your message makes me think. It's really hard on my part. You know what it feels like when you go to church alone.
