Why is it that wedding gowns are expensive and why does everyone want an expensive wedding gown when you will only have to wear it once? I don't know what to say, maybe he's just being practical. What do you think?

Your boyfriend has a good point here. I think a lot of people think tha something more expensive means something better. Therefore they compete to pay the most for a dress as that must mean it is abetter dress than everyone else and who doesn't want to look the best on their wedding day? As a result of this shops take advantage and can cahrge almost whaever they want for wedding dresses as people are willing to pay so much. I paid £200 for mine and sold it on ebay afterwards for £50. On reflection it wasn't worth it as we are not together any more, but at least I didn't spend as much as some people do.

well, yes, i dont get people that spent thousands on one and then never wear it again. i can understand if you buy one and can sell it but most the time you have it made to fit you. but i think that every girl should have a great dress.
