Is first day in the new office always uncomfortable

yes will feel uncomfortable, because there will be no work first day, and also all people are strager for your and no discussion no people can talk with you even no people can teach you because they are very busy for their work,, its very uncomfortable in that situation. i have expenrence so if changed a new job then will spend one week and two week can be familar with all people and with the work, everything will be okay that time!!

I don't think its uncomfortable at all.. On ur first day at office, u get all the attention, also u get all the help from ur coworkers on helping u start ur work, u get to know a lot of new people, so how can one say its uncomfortable..I never felt uncomfortable on my1st day at the office...

Uncomfortable in a way because you are new in the office. You still don't know anyone yet and on the process of getting to know your co-officemates and be familiar really with your work. (",)

I've been into two different jobs already and my first day was always uncomfortable. Well, i think this is just normal espcially that you're still new and there are still a lot of things to adjust. You meet new faces on the first day and we always have this first impression towards other people. And when you first impression to some officemates are strict and unapproachable, it make you more uncomfortable, right? :)

yes i think so. At least it is for me. I am not that great at talking to new people. The first day everyone and everything are new. A lot to take in. i am usually so exhausted after the first few days in a new office.

Yeah I think the first day in new offices is always a little uncomfortable.when I've started anywhere new there's always this nagging thought "be on your best behaviour, Dont look like a Fool". Once you get used to the space and start chatting to someone the feeling fades.
