Title to my car

I think I have title to a car that a friend has possession of. How would I find out if the vehicle is titled to me.

get your tag number and VIN number and go to the tag office. if they cant help you they will tell you who can.

go to your department of licensing web page and then maybe check the registration if you have it...or if you have insurance on the car, check with the department of motor vehicles all your info would be on your policy if you have insurance on the car....or if all else fails report it stolen so you can get information as to whether or not you OWN the car....that is my suggestions.

Get pulled over by the cops. They will be happy to tell you. Maybe you could call the Dmv.
