Beautiful, yet painful moments

Does anyone have one? Let me explain, My mother had a hard 10 year battle with cancer. She was my best friend and my world. She died when I was 20, two months after the birth of my first child. She died while we were at the hospital we were able to go in right after and say our goodbyes, seeing her body lying there was the most beautiful and painful moment of my life. Beautiful, because I knew in my heart that she was no longer suffering, and painful because of course, I just lost my best friend, mother and the one who had been with me my entire life. Anyone have a similar experience?
