Do you like musical films?

I'm talking about films like Velvet Goldmine, Sid & Nancy, Quadrophenia and these type of films. I like this films a lot, specially Velvet Goldmine. Do you know more films like these? What is your favourite? I want to see more films about music^^ Thanks!

If you like Quadrophenia, I assuming you've already seen Tommy. If you haven't, that's another great one. Have you also seen Pink Flyod's The Wall? Those two aren't biographical, but they are really interesting. They are more rock operas than anything else. You might want to give them a chance, especially if you liked Velvet Goldmine.
I am actually quite pleased to hear that you like Velvet Goldmine so much. I love that film and I've found that not many people have seen it. I even bought the soundtrack because I liked the music so much.

Thank you for the recommendations ^^ Yep, I like a lot Velvet Goldmine, is one of my favourite films. And the soundtrack is excellent! I like so much the song "Hot One" of Shudder to Think, and "We are the Boyz" is great too. Wowowow! It's a excellent film with a excellent soundtrack!

My favorite movie musical is The Sound of Music.. I like it so much I bought my own copy of the movie, I've seen it so many times, and I know by heart all the songs in the movie..

Yes, I like this kind of films.... like "The great rock'n roll swindle", for instance....
"Sid and Nancy" was a good film, but I didn't like much the actor who acted the part of Sid Vicious.
I like music very much, and when a good film is full of songs of bands I like, it's really gorgeous!

My all time favourite is The Sound of Music. Also watch 'Walk the Line'.
