car starts, runs great then all of a sudden it stalls. I put it in park turn the key and it starts up just like nothing . Driving along and it stalls again. Some days it does it once and sometimes it does it many times. What could be the problem?

We have a 99 chev. lumina and it once had this same problem. We had been buying gas from a cut-rate station and decided to try Shell for a while, even though it was higher. No problems since. I've heard people say that all gas comes from the same place, but I don't think this is true. It may have to do with additives that Shell puts in their gasoline, or with the amount of ethanol the cut-rate station adds to theirs. We decided that a few cents a gallon more is much better than taking it into a shop for hundreds of dollars worth of repairs. Give it a try for about a month and see if it helps. (That is, if you can afford any gas at all, the way the price keeps going up.)

Sounds like you're having the same problem I am with my car. It could be an electrical problem.
