Seriously, what is up with Paula?

All drunk and stoned jokes aside, does anybody really know what's going on with Paula? I've watched other seasons of American Idol and I know she's sane and coherent in those other shows but since this season started she's like...whacked! What's the news there in the US? I've watched her interview with the letterman show, she's just slurring all over the place. I'd hate to see her get kicked out of idol, part of what makes american idol great is the judges' dynamics.

I think Paula's been acting weirder lately but it isn't the first time. I haven't seen that letterman show but I think I can see Paula slurring. She shouldn't be too sweet and too nice and should start criticizing so that the contestants would know how to improve themselves better.

Well, I think it's what producers want. Sometime to balance out Simon's cruelty. Because if both guys just say mean things or give really bad criticisms to the contestants, the show would probably blow. But I've noticed that she does give some "constructive criticisms" as she calls it.

I don't really watch this season, so I can't really know about what happened to Paula. When i watch it, she seemed very fine with me. And maybe she needs to take a break or something, not quit being judge, just take a vacation. Well, judges are human being too, she probably have some personal issues right now.

Actually I am getting a bit tired of Paul being so sweet and wishy washy. Even when she is critizing someone (which is part of being a judge) she sugar coats it so much it seems she is fawning to the contestants.
