Do service clubs help

I think rotary is a good club others are not active in my area but I feel problem faced by these clubs are so huge so whatever they do , they create a small nichein the society, we need mor e of them everwhere to tackle so many things and I like what these clubs do combine, retired people, young students and housewivesand people with money to do so much for the upliftment of the society as a whole. At least I don't see rotary as just another socail club.
