How are we going to stop our kids killing each other?

Recently our news in the U.K has been dominated with teenage stabbings; we have had four in only two weeks and they have all been under 16!!! And the kids who are responsible for what seems to be senseless attacks or stupid 'gangs' are also minors... it's terrible... I would like to hear from anyone who has been in one of these inner city gangs and any parents who have any ideas on how to stop our kids killing each other and wasting their own lives by ending up in jail.... there are so many terrible things going on in the world, surely kids should be worrying about their zits, arguing with their parents and having crushes on teachers or pop stars? Does a knife amnesty really help? ........
