My daughter is 8 months old.. but she already has 4 teeth! I give her whatever i am eating usually as long as it doesn't contain nuts or honey or anything that the doctor says they shouldn't have before a year. She likes it so much that half the time she isn't really even interested in having her bottle! Which isn't a bad thing :) This morning i made scrambled eggs.. i seperated the egg whites from the yolk and i ate the whites with mushrooms and she ate the yolks ... i even gave her a bit of my mushrooms .. she LOVED it! she ate part of my english muffin and when i tried to give her a bottle she wasn't interested but i knew she was still a bit hungry. It's really amazing how they adapt to their new surroundings! ... What are you feeding your baby? Does your baby like table foods better than jar? Have you noticed your baby is less interested in having a bottle?

I have a 10 month old and we pretty much feed him everything that we are having. He loves pizza. We give him Grilled cheese, mozeralla sticks (the breading), toast, sausage, chicken, hamburger and a lot more but hard to remember everything. He does seem to want more table food than baby food but he still eats both. He freaks out when he sees his bottle and wants it but half the time he doesn't drink it.

When my son was a few months old I feed him table food. Mashed potatoes, mashed peas and green beans. Thing ZI could smash. He did start out getting solid food quicker than most infants his age. I think it just depends on the child. Doctors are not an expert in everything. You know your child better and know when they are ready.
