Divorce/Separation while pregnant

I have recently found out that my husband has been having an affair for approximately 3 months. Now as if this is not bad enough, I am almost 8 months pregnant. What would make a husband do this? We have one child already, but I just cannot understand how things could be good enough for you to do the act to make a baby, but then a few months later find someone that makes you want to run out on your family. Has this happened to others? Anyone know why?

This must have been a great shock for you. Some men like pregnancy but others don't. Maybe your husband saw a slim woman and wanted her while you look fat. This was very wrong of him. I also look very fat. I am 31 weeks pregnant. Some men have affairs beacause they are looking for more excitement in life. Pregnancy is a time that is not too exciting for some men. I hope your husband starts being fair to you and your marriage and does not have any more affairs.

Well, I guess it doesnt matter because we are calling it quits. It was just so sudden to me, that I really dont know how to handle it. And, we have a toddler who i am trying desperately not to put in the middle. But, every part of me wants to say, if that is the type of person you are then he does not need your influence anyway! What would you do?
