ModerArt: What do you think is it nice creative skill or effective communication

What do you feel about Modern Art? Is that a creative skill or an effective communication that enable the artists to sell it in a whooping price? I feel just few colors or the patches of color scattered on a canvas is not good enough but a strong marketing skill of the artist has the main role to play in the sale of the crab for such a whooping price. If you give a color box to a kid and a canvas let the kid for some time alone and come after sometime a nice modern art is ready for sale...
