I told my story on here yesterday but now I am asking for help. My son was born 5 weeks early at 3lbs 3oz. We were flown to a hospital quite a ways away from where we live, and my son spent two weeks in NICU. My insurance requested that we back pay for a couple of months before my son was born before they would cover us and APIPA will only pay the 5th day in and on. Because of this we are forced to pay $15000.00. My husband and I recently got married and can't afford to pay for this.
