favourite seafood

There are so many kinds of seafood.The sea never tires from giving us fresh seafood.There is fish,clams,mussels,scallops,squid,crafish,crab,shrimp.My favourite among this is Shrimp..since it is so easy to cook and tastes so delicious even with the least bit of seasoning.Which is your favourite seafood and why?

I love a local seafood chowder with all the fresh mussels and prawns etc caught right out of the bay. I also like fresh mackarel that I have caught myself. It all reminds me of being home and of happy days with my family at the sea.

Oh gosh, Chances are if it swims I eat it. I love just about any kind of sea food. I would be hard pressed to tell you a favorite. I think though if I did have to choose it would be crab.
I have to disagree with your statement about the sea never tiring from giving us this wonderful food treats. The fact is she is getting tired and worn out. We have over fished until whole species are disappearing. So its quite a dilemma for me on one hand I adore seafood so much and on the other I feel quilt everytime I go out for all you can eat crab legs. We have to do something to find a balance here as is true for all of nature.

well I know that there still has been no threat about the sea getting depleted.what I meant to say was..all over the world people consume hundreds of pounds of seafood each day..and we just keep wondering as to where all this comes from..its just amazing!but ofcourse 70% of earth is covered by sea water.

Oh trust me i eat my share, more than I would say I have fish or some kind of seafood 4 times a week. I am not a big red meat eater. Even knowing the facts I still eat :((

My favorite is Lobster. After that comes shrimp, crabs, muscles and clams. I love them broiled or in a home made cream soup that I make. I don't like fish, only salmon, and nothing else from the sea.

i like fish, oysters,and shrimp. i like talapia,groupa,and snapper. meat is real soft and it tastes great. like fried oysters thats the only way i can eat them. and shrimp. hey
who doesen't like them.

I love ALL seafood, although my hands-down favorite is probably scallops. I also love shrimp, crab, crawfish, mussels, clams, oysters, and... well, I love all of it. The best way (in my opinion) to do scallops is under the broiler, so you can get good color on them but they are still tender in them middle. When cooked properly, they just sort of melt in your mouth, and I guess thats what I like most.
