What will be the future of our ENVIRONMENT???

With the way things are going now...the pollution, illegal logging, etc...what does that future hold for our environment? How can we stop the total degradation of our ecosystems? Is this the end for mother nature?

The world has faced worse that what we are throwing at it and still survived. However not all of the species on it have. personally I think that our bad habits are likely to kill us and a lot of other animals if we don't do something about it, but the world will still carry on, even if we aren't on it.

The future of our environment does not look good, especially if we continue our reliance on fossil fuels as our main source of energy. There is some hope, however, as we continue to search (albeit slowly) for affordable practical alternatives.

Only if big business gets on board will nature be saved. At this rate, what kind of legacy are we leaving for our kids?
