I have recently read The Alchemist-a story about following your dreams and I loved the book! I am quite influenced by it and have really started thinking that way...trying to find what my dream is...making an effort to listen to my heart? But I am not able to do it!! I am a complete day dreamer that way and have loadzz of dreams every hour...all of which i want to make happen...but cant find tht one "ultimate" dream which i wanna fulfill which would make me content!! Can anyone guide me? Probably as to what questions can I ask myself to move a step closer to my heart! Have any one of you realised your "ultimate" dream? Could anyone share their experiences?

My dream is to have an extremely intimate and strong relationship with my husband .. somehow we still have some differences and I really dont think he understands me completely .. i dream of this perfect harmony with him which would not stammer even in the strongest of whirlwinds that life may offer .. although we share a good and happy relationship its not what i dreamt of before marriage .. there is something more I yearn for .. more depth and more feelings than now .. maybe some more years together would make my dreams a reality .. :)

The Alchemist was indeed a very nice book. I loved reading it. Personally, I was going through a lot of stress and disappointments at that time, and the book gave me a lot of hopes. I'm a computer professional but I have dreams of participating in the tour de france some day, and I look forward to it very eagerly. Before reading The Alchemist, I always thought that it was just a pipe dream, one that can never be attained, but now I think differently. While my job keeps me busy all the time, the money is essential. I'm saving up now, so that when the time is right, I can quit my job and concentrate on my cycling and make my push for the ultimate dream, Tour de France. I'm also working on my fitness in the meanwhile.

my dream is really easy for most but for me it is hard to come by. i want to be married which i am to a person that i am hopelessy in love with. have been for 11 years. raise smart good kids. i think we are doing that. buy the place we live at. thats the hard part. we live on a small property that has a house and 4 mobiles out in the country. i want to keep the mobiles at low rent like 250 a month they are 3 bedrooms. so that people that have had a ruff start in life or having a ruff time can have a nice place to live to get back on there feet. have a small garden and a kids play area. for the people here to feel like a family which we all do now. i want to keep that going. open a small thrift shop that helps people in need. have loads of animals kinda like a small petting zoo here at the house. getting close to that now lol. have the kids grow up move out and us be able to go fishing , relax, maybe find a parent that cant take there kids to do those things cause they work etc and help kids learn and respect the outdoors. i just want a simple life and help others be able to get to there dreams. and for my kids to be happy. the man that owns this place past away last month. his kids just want to sell the place and dont care to who or what happens to the people here. i care. i want it to stay the way it is. i want to own it so i can keep it that way. he kept it to help families get on there feet. he helped us. i want to keep his dream going. my credit is poor. i have little income, but this place would pay for itself on a loan. i just need someone to finance me. my dream will come true and i know it. this is what i was ment to do.

My ultimate dream is to raise a family of my own with strong bond of closeness, communication, and a home overflowing with love. To some, this is a simple dream that everyone (almost) dreams of. I came from a broken family and had never experience such closeness, communication and love. I feel incomplete since my dad has a new family of his own, and so is my mom. My big sis and big bro both have a family of their own too. I am left all alone. I am lonely. It has affected me so much and i would not wish my soon-to-be-children to experience such pain and difficulties. That's why my ultimate dream is to raise a family within a home full of love and respect.
