In libraries, do they put the bible in the fiction or non-fiction section? (Please don't feel religiously offended)

The Holy Bible is true and therefore it should be placed in the non-fiction section in libraries. However, even if some categorize the Holy Bible as fiction and place them in the fiction section, it is still being sought and many want to read for examination or study.

There is a number, I think it is 200 that is the religion section in libraries. All Bibles and devotional type books would be found there. 200-300. I can't imagine anyone looking for it under fiction.

I have checked this out for you and it is in the non-fiction department in our local library, but wait soon if people have their way it won't be. I really am getting sick and tired of the people that put down our God and don't believe he exists. My son went for years not believing in him and saying that the world was just there. Now he reads the Bible everyday and goes to church. Mind you it isn't a Catholic church, it is a Southern Baptist church, but at least he went back. I prayed that he would. Just like I prayed the other day that I would get help with sending my 21 year old out to California to see the other brother. I said to HIM, please help me lord so that my son can get to see his brother and it happened last night, he sent me an angel. One of his friends used his credit card and booked a flight for him. Divine intervention if you ask me. I didn't even ask him to do it. He just said would you really like for him to go and I said yes, then he said he would pay.

I think you have a good question there. Not offended. I am a Catholic and I believe in God and so I will call my local library tomorrow, better yet I am going to go there. And I will find out what our town library does with it. So if you can wait until I find out about our end of the deal is, it will be done tomorrow. I think it should be under non-fiction. My opinion though. Others will be different on this issue. But seriously, have you seen what's been going on in the world lately? It's in the Bible.
