Places to visit in CA

Hi everybody, as I m new here....so thought mylot to be the ebst place to get to know about the new and different places that can be visited here in California.....so guys n gals just share ur experiences for the worthy places to be visited......

First let me say welcome to myLot. I hope you enjoy it here. Not knowing what part of California you are in for sure, but one of my favorite trips was a trip through Napa Valley, out of San Francisco. The roads are beautiful, surrounded by mountains and grape orchards and wineries. We toured quite a few of the lavish wineries and it was amazing. Up north, the town of Yreka is an old gold rush town at heart and there are a lot of sites to see. Another trip I took was to Sea World in San Diego, it was also very impressive. I live in Southern Oregon, about 20 miles or so from the CA boarder off I-5. Where are you originally from?
