myLot Weather and Sports

How do they know what the weather is like where I live?? They also list Sport teams that are close to me. Does anyone know how myLot does this? It is really great technology - they must use an IP address or something... Tell me how you think they do this!!

I'm not sure how it is working, but I agree they must be using the IP-adress.
