My grandmother went to be one with the universe today. She was 80 years old. She was a hard lady. She celebrated her 80th birthday Febuary 23, 2007. My mom wants me to write the obit for our paper. What do you think about this. I am keeping the last names out for sake of privacy, except for my grandma's. Ruby Craig Foust went to be one with the universe on March 22, 2007. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 23,1927. She grew up in Muncie, Indiana. Raised her three children in the Anderson area, relocated to Sebring, Florida. Before retiring back home in Indiana. She is survived by her two daughters. Marsha (husband: Steve) Diana (husband: Howard). Seven grand daughters Amy(spouses will be included also), Kris, Kelly, Kim, Karrie, Julie, Michelle and a grand son Jeff. Also surviving is her sister Thelma and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren (I am going to put the names in I think or at least the correct number.) She is preceed in death by her only son William (Bill) Foust. And her ex husband Billie Foust. (Should I add this last part or not?) Then I'll input the name of the funeral home for calling hours and the funeral.

I think you did a fine job. You can also list hobbies or things she enjoyed doing. I am sorry for your loss of your grandma.
