What is going on on LOST?

Okay I am a huge LOST fan and I watch it faithfully each week. However, these last few episodes have made me feel as if I may be wasting my time. It sems as if they are not telling us anything anymore. Its just a lot of cliffhangers and information we really do not need. Like how Locke got in his wheelchair. We've all been wonderin that, but not as much as why there are polar bears on this tropical island, or what the hell this monster is living on the island and how did it get there. Instead they just keep digging deeper and deeper adding ore and more mysteries. I'm just getting tired of it all. If it were'nt for those addicting cliffhangers, I would have been stopped watching this show. Does anyone else feel the same?
