My rating on mylot has gone down considerably inspite of the fact that I have never ever given a negative rating to anyone. Also I realise that I get very few responses to my posts and others with the same posts get much more responses.Any ideas as to why this happens? And how can I get more responses and also more positive ratings?

while I'm not sure about that but I think the rating is mostly defing by the content that your posting and so it can be to a certain level being decided by the ratings you get for your comments. And one thing even I am very worried about its the amount of response that I get for my discussions. I see people popping the same topic and they get a lot of discussion responses but I don't want to do that and maybe that is the reason I do not get sufficient responses to my discussions.

Well, i would suggest not to make your title so long, and make it more intresting. I would have just put, Rating went down, or something like that. And maybe other people experiencing the same thing would answer your discussion. You could also put intresting tags for those that search posts by tags. Also, invite your friends to post, and you can reply to eachother!
