I frequently watch movies. Sometimes with a friend, my partner, or with my two sisters but i have never tried watching a movie alone. I think watching movies alone is boring. How bout you? Have you tried watching a movie alone? How does it feel? Is it really boring or what?

I would never imagine watching movies alone. Its no fun without family or friends who are the best for the movies. But after shifting to other country from my native, I am now used to watch movie alone. But there is no fun in watching this way without friends. But I like to watch scary movies alone, its more thrilling to watch that way.

I beg to differ, my friend. Watching movies alone is not boring. I often catch the shows at the big screen alone. When you are with friends, they tend to talk during the movies, pass their own comments, and it spoils my enjoyment of the movies. :P

well I often go to the cinema and watch movies alone..of course going there with a bit of company is nicer and I go to the cinema with my friends or mothers as often as I can...but i live in a big city and I don't have many friends there...we all have busy life and therefore it is difficult for me to have company when I need it the most..so when I want to do something I do it even though I am alone...if I am in good mood I don't suffer from being there alone and i enjoy my film..of course if I am in bad mood being alone in the cinema with many other people makes me feel even worse...oh it also depends on the movie I am watching..if it is funny I can enjoy it alone than if watching a film about a difficult subject!!!

I have once watched a movie alone. I would never forget that time when I really wanted to watch the movie Ice Age 2 but nobody wanted to come with me. That time, the cinema has already been showing the movie for 3 weeks, that's why fewer people are watching it then. When I entered the cinema, a lady signalled the cinema personnel to start the movie. I was puzzled. When I entered, I found out that I am the only person inside the cinema. Half of that movie, I watched alone inside a big cinema!! Imagine that! I liked the experience but I dont really like the movie... [LOL]

Ya you are right.watching movies alone is not that entertaining as it is to watch with family or anybody at home. But i've really watched a few alone when others have to rest or have to do something else. This way its ok but not that enjoyable

for me it's not a big thing to watch movies alone, sometimes it's better than going with someone who can't stop talking during the movie but i like to go with my friends too

yes i do, i love to watch movies when i am alone, why? simply because i can understand the story well and i can focus on the movie well without someone disturbing or chatting with me, but if im with my girlfriend, of course i could not focus well on the movie but rather i have to focus my attention to her. lol.

I have watched a movie alone. That was the time that I broke up with my boyfriend. I wanted to be alone to be able to think, something I cannot do at home because there were other people there who would start a conveersation with me anytime. So I went to watch a movie alone. There, I just cried my heart out and nobody could see I was crying.

I always watch movies alone, and I find the notion of movies being boring when watched alone very confusing, as, the last time I checked, the entertainment value came from the movie, not from who-ever else might be sitting around watching it at the same time. I prefer towatch them alone, as I find people asking 'what did he just say?' or worse yet, explaining what is happening as if I wasn't there watching it as well, extremely irritating. But, that's just me.
