When someone does something to hurt someone else, society, meaning the people of that community, town, county, state, country or whatever the location where that incident took place where someone hurt someone else, the mass have already implented laws to determine that there will be no toleration of behavior where one's rights were violated. The person who willingly and willfully took away this other person's inalienble rights has to be judged by the elected officials for which the mass has elected them to do to make an example by sentencing the perpetrator to restitution and/or punishment by way of incarceration or community service so we all can have a reasonable assumption that we can safely live in a free society meaning that we shouldn't have to worry that someone is going to do bad (evil) upon us. Who decides? We all, as a government of the people, by the people and for the people, do. On a personal note, my opinion is that any one who has common sense or Judao-Christian based values by which the U.S.A. was founded upon knows the difference between good (doing something nice for someone else) and evil (doing something bad against someone else.) Good luck here at MyLot.

This is a very mind-boggling question. Well, according to my Sociology class, we are prisoners of society. Society dictates and clarifies our classification of good and evil. No wonder there are a lot of leftist in our societies because they want to be different; hence, they don't want to be dictated. On the other hand, as a Catholic, the boundary between good and evil is very clear. And the Holy Bible says it all. Enjoy your stay here, my friend.
