50 cents is not a lot of money but added by thousands of people could make a tidy sum. i think i would have to know them in person before i would donate any money . after all it could be a big con to make money.

It's only 50 cents. I'd donate it, most likely, though I would be curious to know more details of the disease and would like to see updates on the woman's progress.
