Has anyone else ever done this? LOCKED YOUR KID, & KEYS IN THE CAR!!

Ok, so I have 3 kids the oldest being 8, anyways yesterday I was in a big hurry, and was getting my 3 year old in the car to go and pick up my middle child, and wanted to get to the bank first to deposit a check I made online. Anyways, I realized my ATM card was still in the house, and my little one was all in the car seat, so as I was shutting the door, to run in & grab it, I inturn realized that the door was locked!! My 3 year old refused to open the door :), and was laughing at mommy standing in the rain. I called the cops when I realized he wasn't going to get out of his car seat and let me in.....(he has been known as a little escape artist as far as the carseat and small areas are concerned). Finally the police came & unlocked it for me!! :) I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS THE 8 years I have had kids........ I am just glad he didn't get out of his carseat and throw the car in reverse!! :) LOL HAVE YOU DONE THIS...if so what happened.... CAROL http://www.paycage.com http://legitpayouts.tripod.com/

I have witnessed something of this kind, she wasnt my child, but someone i know. we hire them for printing services of office supplies, like calling cards, stationeries, official reciepts, etc. once when i came to their house, she wasnt there but i saw her 2 year old daughter tied to a native rocking chair for children. she was so quiet when i get there, but the site was so heart-breaking, she was alone and i think that was so unkind. i would have untied her, but then he mom arrived and she started explaining to me why she needed to tie her to a chair..it was something to do with a job order she needed to submit to a big printer and since it would only take a few minutes ride to and back, she thought of tying up her daughter and then come back quickly. Is this some kind of child-abuse?
