What is the Deinition of an online friend?

I guess I'm asking is this another type of myspace page where at first it's about close friends, and then it turn's into a populatiry contest? I guess people are gonna do what they want, but that's not what I'm here. I like meeting new people and learning what their intrests are.

First let me say welcome to myLot. My personal experience is that it is nothing at all like myspace. I have a myspace page, but never use it, except to contact old friends. MyLot is about people sharing and exchaning ideas, opinions, thoughts, and basically almost anything of interest. Yes, I have made some great friends on here. I may not always agree with some of them, but they are my friends just the same. I don't believe myLot is a popularity contest in anyway. I think that if you post good content and stick to the guidelines, you will do just fine. Again, welcome, and happy posting.
