Are you kind of a punk or a person who likes to set their own trends? What sort of trends do you set? Do you cut off your jeans at the knees or other things? What is your reasoning behind this; in your opinion do you do it to make it look better or not? Well, looking forward to your responses!

I do trim some of my jeans, if they're too long coz' it's really hard to walk with long jeans, it's really irritating.

i don't cut my jeans off unless it's being torn already. when it is, i try to cut them off and try to make them look like shorts. i cut off too long skirts up to my knee or even shorter above the knee. i try to have skirts which will make me feel more comfortable thus, making me move a lot. long skirts are hard to carry sometimes. when it comes to blouses, there are times when i try to buy plain colored ones. i just buy the beads and other stuffs and sew them on my blouse the way i want them to look. better and personalized. i can have it the way i want them to look like... and very satisfying, too.

I have always tried to make my own clothes and modify clothes a lot too. I recently bought a pair of jeans that were too long for me so I cut the bottoms off and spent ages fringing out the hems. I also have a long black long sleeved velvet dress that was originally a short sleeveless black velvet dress. I would much rather modify clothes for myself to be honest, they are individual that way and cannot be regarded as folloing fashion.

i do cut my jeans and make them shorts when they are old. to redesign the jeans it has to be old so first wear the new ones to the maximum use and once its done turn it into shorts and use them at home. that a good idea, isnt it?

I have never cut my clothes, but I have a funny story to share. A few years ago my son was into cutting a slit on each side of the bottom of his jeans, one day I went to put on my jeans and they had slits in them, I called him down stairs to ask him about it, he said that he thought they were his jeans. I asked him if he even looked at them because I'm just a little larger than he is, not to mention they were girl jeans. A couple of days later, my husband (his step dad) put on a pair of his jeans and found the same slits on his jeans too. That was a crazy time around here, we both wore the jeans, at first my son didn't like us wearing them, and I told him that he shouldn't have cut them. Later he finally said, "well they make you look a little cooler".
