Some songs do have very "bright" lyrics, such as these ones: "...Sorrow's gonna say goodbye, opens up you'll see the happy sunshine. Keep going on with your dream, chasing tomorrow so bright, this sweet dream can never die...". According to me, after I heard those words, I really thought" Oh, what a wonderful world". How about your idea?

Some Lyrics do make the day brighter I have found but the majority of today's music is just dreadful. I often wonder how can the younger generation listen to it. For myself I listen to something that puts me in a good mood. I like listning to Air Supply to brighten my Day

Thanks. Yeah, some songs have very "dark" lyrics. That's why I like classic songs a lot.

i may say that lyrics really do affect my likeness of a song. the more meaningful and deep it is the more im going to love it. plus if it got accompanied with a good melody.

I have always believed that music has the power to rule and change the world, and history is an example for it. Be it Dylan's poetic lyrics during the hippy era pr Marleys words of wisdom. These people literally changed the mindsets of people and gave them the message of peace and freedom. Some lyrics can really influence us, and for me it is Mr. Bob Marleys Music.
