We all know Smoking is bad and very harmful but what about smokers? Some people say smoking is bad but that doesn't make smokers bad as person. I disagree. They smoke publicly and they have no right to cause harm to other person's health. I find them as silent murderers and suicides - killing themselves, others and the earth with their slow poison. What do u think? Be unbiased, speak the truth. I would also like to hear the opinions of smokers.

Well well, if you put it that way, I guess you are right! This is a very insightful observation... I never like to breathe second-hand smoke - though I have never thought of them as silent murderers... seems that I need to do a rethink.

It's hard to be unbiased when the question you're asking people is coming from someone who is obviously not a smoker. I think you'll find when people say smoking can harm others - they're talking about passive smoking & in this sense it is more to do with being indoors - say in a pub/bar - where EVERYONE is subject to the chemicals etc but if someone is outside smoking & you're standing next to them & the wind is blowing in the opposite direction to where you are, you WILL NOT be inhaling the chemicals, therefore their smoke will not affect you. Outside in the open it's much different as the wind carries the smoke away which doesn't affect anyone. Smoking is bad for you, i wont argue there, i also wont argue that it could kill you one day but to accuse people who smoke of being murderers is kinda a little over the top. I'm sorry you think smokers are bad people but a bad habit does not make someone a bad person. To me a bad person is someone who deliberately sets out to harm others & to me a murderer is someone who takes a life. I hope this is ok but as i said to begin with, this question is already biased as you are a non-smoker who is saying smokers are killers & bad people which is WAY off the mark.

If they are outside they are still harming the earth and that is not an excuse. Even if you are outside, you get effected by it. It is not mostly about the direction of wind, read journals for that. We all know its effects on us and others, still we continue doing it which then becomes intentional. Many people don't even want to take help and they continue it and I hate this thing very much.
