Hi, Margieanne! You have wonderful paintings! Blogs are promoted in various ways, both free and paid. You can append them as signature on your email. Use traffic exchanges. Or ask friends to spread the word. :)

You need to have a little bit of promotion... One example is to submit Your site to some directories, where You have ability to write an article about Your site.... I can suggest You folowing sites... https://www.netscape.com/ http://reddit.com http://newsvine.com http://digg.com/ http://shoutwire.com/ There are many more sites but these 6 are good for start...
