I never carry much cash on me. One reason being is that I have a checking account and that also enables me to use a debit card to pay all my bills..Usually I dont spend as much money if I dont have the actual cash in my hand..

I will never bring too much cash in my pocket, firstly because of safety reason, i can minimize my loss in case I drop it, also if I get a lot of money in my pocket, I tend to spend more, I do not always use credit card because I do not like to be in debt, but if I have much cash in my pocket, I will go to a restuarant for a $20 lunch,I will have no choice but having a loaf of bread for my lunch if I only have $10 in my wallet.

I dont bring too mcuh cash really since it will also tempting for me to spend it. the less cash on my wallet for the day, the less i will spend too.:) I dont have credit cards so it makes it safer as well. If i need to do something for the day, i bring enough for that and a little extra for emergency.

I agree with you..cash in the pocket is so tempting as cash is usually the only thing you dont keep records of ..Even debit card purchases must be recorded;)+

I rarely carry cash. If I have cash I don't even like to spend it. I have ha the same $20 in my wallet since December. LOL It will probably stay there until I go to gas up one day and the pat at the pump isn't working.

I rarely carry a lot of cash on me when I am out as I use my debit card for most of my purchases these days. It is even nicer doing it this way because I get reward points for using my debit card instead of cash. It can be just as dangerous carrying a debit card with you as you still have the temptation of spending on things that we want or need.

Wow ..that's nice Ken..I wonder if our bank gives us reward for using our debit card.. I don't know with the debit card you still have to write it down as you do with a check..I find I think twice with the debit or check; but, that's just me;)+

We (hubby and I) are like you. We rarely carry cash. In fact hubby has had the same $5.00 in his pocket for over two weeks. We use our debit card for shopping and such, and write checks for all our bills. We only use the credit card for traveling and emergencies, because of the interest. Cash has become too much trouble.

Sometimes cash does come in handy..but I tend to spend less if I must use my debit or write a check.. I think twice before spending;)+
