foreclosure auction

i am renting from owners who were served with a notice of auction she claims it was a mistake but i am here wondering if it was sold as today i recieved a refund check for her from those attorneys what rights do i have as i am living here if someone else has bought the property, and how or when do you think i will be notified by new owner

When was the auction? You may not receive notice until a few days after it is final.
Where are you from? There are different rules regarding tenants in different areas and basedon the type of property (apartments, house, etc)?
You received what kind of refund check? Rent?
They should have to give you 30 days noticed before evicting you. You may want to start looking for a new place to live.
