have pets=killing me!!

Many people have pets,last week,my girl friends said that if we married we should have 3 dogs,two cats,and if I can't do that she will leave me.
My God,it's so cruel for me because I just graduated from school and have no much money.What should I do,haveing so many pets means killing me.
