Are there Germans here? I need some help!

My class will open a topic about the environment around the world.I think Germany is a country where is clean and beautiful.So,I want to say something about Germany .But,the information I has collected is not enough.Could anybody who is native German or people who know Germany well tell me more about German evironment,and the measures Germans take to protect their evironment.
