Retired Shower Curtains

In case you don't know what I am talking about. I seen this on TV. here is a tip for old shower curtains. Instead of throwing shower curtains away use them to cover your Barbecue grill. I think that is a good idea, if you don't have a place to store your barbeque grill. use the shower curtain to cover it. make sure it's clean, just throw it in the wash. Good Idea? I think so. anymore good ideas list them.

It's a great idea. Also good for a pull over on us if it should be raining. And if you can cut straight, you can have placemats and cup mats.

That's a good Ideas too! take some of you Art work and do some cuttings with the Shower Curtains and use the for different Art Works,
Just a thought. LOL. will it work as well as paper? and Laminate them?

You can also you them for a drop cloth when painted. use it for gardening so you don't get dirt everywhere. put your flower puts on them when plants more flowers. I just thought of this!

Thats a good idea. I have used them to cover the lawnmower too. They also work nice for under a baby's highchair or to put under a child's painting area. Kids can be so messy.lol

I've never thought that retired shower curtains can still be in use. I used to simply throw them away. Maybe it is high time I start thinking of ways of putting them to use. Yes, I am starting to think that those retired shower curtains can still have some use as covers for things outside of the walls of the house. Thanks for the input, marciascott.

oh i have used my old shower curtains for many things
if you cut hair at home there great on the floor to catch the hair painting- i use them for drop cloths i cover my outside swing the ones with cushons -put one in the trunk to use for bringing home wet items- cover furniture if i am painting there are many good uses for them so wash them up and save them they do come in handy.

I neve r thought about using old shower cutains untill I sern this promagram on TV, Home improvement show. some show on cable. thanks for your ideas! alot of uses.

We used to use them for "slip-n-slide" remember that.. We'd have a ball..I.ve also used them to slide down a snow hill..You can really get going fast..Tammy
