Do you get more excited when you receive an email or letter?

I love receiving letters. I wish I had a penpal again. I collect old love letters that people used to write each other. I have a collection of antique postcards. I have a collection of postcards from around the world. I love receiving letters from friends and family. I've instilled the same in my young cousins, nieces, and godchildren. I don't get this same thrill when I get an email. I love receiving emails from my friends. Little notes and letters telling me news about their lives is nice but there is something about a letter. How do you feel? Which is more exciting to you, a letter or an email?

i too love to read and write letters. i was having a penpal and i use to write long - long letters to him. now at present , i m so busy in my life that i think e-mail is better because i dont have any time to write letters to anyone.

I love receiving letters that aren't bills. You never know who they are from and hearing how old friends are doing is so much more interesting. I do like getting postcards too. You can't put much on them but whoever wrote them was thinking of you one way or the other.
